The second annual car and quad autocross event took place on Thursday, the 5th of May, in Stoutenburg, the Netherlands. Due to heavy rainfall in the past month it was uncertain whether the race would take place. Luckily the track dried out just in time for the race. A few muddy spots made it difficult for the cars and drivers to get round the track, and this took their toll on the cars' engines.
Three laps were driven in each class; these determined the points for the final ranking. For the first time in weeks, the spectators could watch the spectacle on the track while also basking in beautiful sunshine.
One of the competing drivers was our Technical Data Manager, Nick van the Belt. Despite tough competition, Nick finished in an impressive second place.
